Simple Wikipedia

xkcd's comic this morning made me investigate the site. And I must admit, it looks quite well-suited for children as well as simple-minded adults. Sample:

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world's biggest and highest-energy particle accelerator, used to make some really small things called protons hit each other. Protons are smaller than even the best microscope can see. They are moved around the Large Hadron Collider in opposite directions at almost the speed of light. When the protons hit one another, smaller particles come out. Scientists look at the smaller particles. These particles are some of the smallest things in the universe. By looking at these particles scientists hope to learn what the universe is made of.

As a fun comparison, Peloponnesian War vs. simplified Peloponnesian War. lol @ the writers' bias in summing up that war in a few sentences but still requiring a hefty amount of text to sum up WW2.

Funny, I had the same exact reaction to XKCD this morning.
